Highlights: Gorilla tracking, forest walk, Batwa community visit

Day 1: Entebbe – Bwindi Forest

Depart Entebbe early and drive through the scenic countryside of western Uganda. Stop at the Equator for photos, then continue through Mbarara and Kabale to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — home to the rare mountain gorillas.  In the afternoon, take an optional village walk to meet the Batwa pygmy community and learn about their traditional forest life.
Overnight: The Gorilla Resort Bwindi or Similar

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience – Return to Entebbe

After an early breakfast, attend a briefing at the park headquarters and begin your gorilla trek through Bwindi’s misty forest. Once you locate the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior and interactions.  After a bush picnic lunch, begin your scenic journey back to Entebbe.
