This four day Terralux Group tour, provides the widest range of Kenyan wildlife – its a safari excursion from Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha to finally to the famous Masai Mara. You will discover some of the most renowned natural settings in East Africa.
The highlights of this exciting trip include walking tours and safari drives where you can see “the big five” (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and African buffalo), flamingos, hippos, lions, and wildebeests among others. Apart from wildlife you’ll also get view the open savannahs, lakes brimming with vibrant birdlife, woods and parks home to rhinoceros, leopards, giraffes, and other wildlife. You will enjoy all these amazing things in just four days. Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Day 1 – Nairobi to Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru
We begin the journey from Nairobi and the first amazing sight is the scenic view of the sprawling rift valley escarpment. From there, a first major stop is the beautiful Lake Naivasha and here you will enjoy a scenic boat ride. It’s possible to see giraffes, zebras, and, of course, hippos – the famous dwellers of Lake Naivasha as we travel across the lake. You will also get to go for a walking safari looking for different bird species, zebras, giraffes and waterbucks. On our way to Nakuru, there’s the amazing view of Lake Elementaita its rich bird life. We will then proceed to Lake Nakuru national park – on the floor of the great rift valley. This park has beautiful scenery with its biggest attraction being the great – Lake Nakuru the home of Flamingoes. Its also referred to as the birds paradise of Nakuru because of its a home to over 400 bird species that include:- African Fish Eagle, Pink-backed Pelican, African Cuckoo, Woolly-necked Stork, Grey-crested Helmetshrike, Greenshank, Robin-Chat and many more. Afternoon shall be spent on game watching drives around the Lake and you will get to see the wildlife species such as the endangered white rhinos, zebras, leopards, lions, giraffes, hippos, impalas, waterbucks among others. You’ll also be able to bird watch at the different birding spots around the national park.

Day 2 – Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
You’ll start with a short wildlife and birdwatching game drive in Lake Nakuru national park before proceeding to the game reserve in Masai Mara. There will be stops at picturesque locations along the – Nakuru – Masai Mara route. Its approximately 300km from Nakuru to Masai Mara and this will take approximately 6 hours. You’ll get to enjoy an afternoon game watching drive in the afternoon at the Masai Mara game reserve.

Day 3 – Full Day – Masai Mara Game Reserve
This is the main event of your safari! Prepare yourself to enjoy the rolling hills, sprawling savannahs and more wildlife and adventure than you can ever imagine. Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world. A full day just to savour and enjoy game drives with unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. A picnic lunch by the Mara river as you watch crocodiles and hippos – and if its in (July – October), you’ll get to experience the epic Wildebeeste Migration!
The Maasai, are the dominant tribe surrounding the Masai Mara. This nomadic warrior tribe, still retain many of their traditions and live largely untouched by modern day civilization, in areas surrounding Masai Mara. You get to visit a Maasai village for a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, manyattas, unique way of life and see first hand some of their customs and practices.
Other activities that can be enjoyed in the park with prior arrangements include – balloon safaris.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Enjoy one last early morning game drive of the Masai Mara game reserve. The depart Masai Mara mid – morning and proceed back to Nairobi. There will be a lunch stop on the way back and arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
